Santa Claus Came to Town!

Rector citizens enjoyed another beautiful Christmas Parade & Reception Thursday evening, December 4th.  Santa Claus was waving to crowds from the City of Rector float, as he and the children threw candy to those in the crowd.  It was bitter cold, but eveyone soon warmed up as they filed into the Rector Community Center at the end of the parade, to enjoy hot coffee, cocoa and cookies.  The spirit was also warmed, listening to the Rector Beginning, Intermediate & High School Bands, under the direction of Mr. Craig Wadley, playing several holiday songs.  Also adding to the music were the children of the first grade, and Ms. Judy Hargrave's private vocal students.  All the while, Santa Claus was sitting by the beautiful Christmas tree, sharing time and photos with the children.

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!"
